How do I verify that the quick overclock settings have applied?
s/n this is a loy diff from when i had my D1 rooted!
Edit: Before you go too far...make sure you run the calibration in Quick Clock...it will find out how low your particular CPU can go on the voltage side of things...
after you set your clock speeds you will hit "calculate" it will input the right voltages based on the calibration settings...then you will hit "Set CPU"
thennnn....
when you're on the main screen of the app...you can see your four clock speed settings displayed at the top....like so...

Yea.. i found the help log. and Read into it. Funny how it took me 2x of running calibration for it to work properly. Is every ones DX max 1500 and min 300? I have my overclock set to balance, then edited it to 300, 630, 845, 1200

What did you use for the screen shot? Every time I use droca2 I snapshot the countdown timer on the screen smh.

i use drocap...what you want to do is when the counter comes up and it says Start and what not....hit the "back" hard button on your phone...then when you get to the screen you want to capture...just shake the phone...

quick question...running apex 1.4.1..do i need to apply the 'remove data throttle' services.jar tweak through the toolbox or has throttling already been disabled on my device by default (higher data speeds?)?
i have apex 1.4.1 loaded and i know there are options in the toolbox as far as blur messaging and aosp messaging..i want this one and i'm confused as to which is default and what I'd have to do exactly to get this one, etc..
Also, once i figure out how to switch my messaging app on my phone over to that one - what will the repercussions be? will i have to restore texts/emails/both and restore them? or will it just be an appearance change and the data will stay?
any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
So I've got a small problem. I loaded this ROM and now my 3G connection will not work. I noticed that it seems to be stuck in airplane mode. I turn off airplane mode and it goes right back on. Also it says under the mobile data on off switch in settings "no apn configured" I don't know if these things are related or not. I am able however to get a wifi connection to work. Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated?
On another unrelated note I noticed that the physical Keyboard keys are not mapped properly. Ex. I press alt and j to get a * and instead I get this ]. This is just one example, I have resorted to using the onscreen keyboard exclusively.
What can I do when I get this message in android system recovery I get this E:Can't open/cache/recovery/command. Tried to clean and got nothing, tried to restore and got the same thing so what would be the next step. Can anyone help, thanks.
I set my friend's d2 up with apex this evening, everything is great except when he types on his hard keyboard, the zero key, for example, (alt+p) won't work. He can only get a parentheses and a P out of it... Any help? keyboards i could install via bootstrap? Thanks!

Um i searched the D2 board but saw no issues for this, you said the problem was on the hard keyboard so idk if there would be a keyboard fix via bootstrap unless you get Fab to fix it.

Do I need to Factory Reset if coming from a stock but rooted ROM? It keeps prompting me to update and I don't want to lose root so I am trying to find a ROM to go to without clearing everything.
I think it bricked my phone...I am stuck at the motorola logo screen on my droid x...am I going to need to SBF back to stock or is there a way to fix this?

Um what did you do?
First thing i would try would be reaching factory recovery to do a factory reset to see if that will let u boot up
Yea none of that helped. I made a mistake somewhere. I ended up SBFing and it worked, that was the first time that I messed up my phone and it might be because it was like 1am when I decided to work on it. What GB version is this based on? Like what version should I be on when I install this? I am back on whatever the SBF put me on, which is .602
I keep getting a "signature verification failed" message when I attempt to flash this ROM. I am on 2.3.3, not rooted, though. I figured rooting wasn't necessary if I just went into recovery manually (i.e. not via ClockworkMod Recovery app or any other recovery app).

1. rooting is REQUIRED for any type of flashing like this
2. you can't flash this ROM over 2.3.3 because ApeX 1.4.1 is Froyo based and you're on Gingerbread
