Default [MOD] Various Battery Icons w/ 10% and CRT-Off for GB .596

I used the UOT Kitchen to make a bunch of different color icon sets for GB .596 using bouchigo's modified framework (thank you Bouchigo). I did not include the 270*° rotation but if you would like it included with one of the sets or just different colors let me know. Please note, I've installed each of these from the download links directly to my phone without any issues.

Edit: You may want to apply THIS deodexer zip that Bouchigo made prior to installing the battery zip just to prevent any issues.

I have Bouchigo's 270 and CRT. I'm looking for the battery mod too. Can I flash this over his mods and keep 270 and CRT or will I lose them?

Let me know which one you want (post the link here) and I'll make it with the 270° rotation for you.

I want the stock green with percentages, but I also want to keep CRT off. Is that possible?

Not sure what happened but loaded the Blue Droid one and massive force close errors on reboot.

Came from Stock rooted 340 to P3's two part 596 rooted with no issues, loaded Bo's remove clock mod (these were all done the day of 596 coming out and the remove clock when it was released). Nothing else done until now, just fyi. I'm not sure what happened or why but my phone didn't like it?

I have to find out what file enables the rotation, then I will get it done for you.

It seems to happen randomly, if you check in Bouchigo's MOD thread there is a fix that can be applied.

OK, you can actually just install the battery icons, which will also give you the CRT-off and then apply Bouchigo's 270 rotation zip. I've tried it and you get everything.

Very cool icons. Can we get the stock blue battery without percentages and facing the opposite way? The stock gb battery on my phone faces the other way, and I'm kind of used to it.

Must haves for me:

270
crt-off
Green battery with percentages.

You see, what I am hoping for is the whole package. Whoever does it first gets their name in my phone-type listing. (You may not want that).

Edit: crossed in the mail.

If you apply the green battery you will get the CRT-off and 10% increments, then just apply Bouchigo's Rotation zip and you'll have it all.

Stock battery flashes over bouchigo's mods and keeps crt-off. So, I didn't need to reflash crt. Thank you. Putting your name along side of Bouchigo's in my phone profile.

The CRT-off is included with the battery icons, if it wasn't you would have lost it. Since you already have the rotation, and it isn't part of the framework, it didn't get removed when you installed the battery icons.

I thought Bouchigo posted a link to a script that would remove his mods?

Question: how hard would it be to change the colours yourself? I like the Honeycomb look, but I'd rather have it in red.

All done, it is the last link in the list and the pic is the last one in the group. You may want to apply Bouchigo's deodexer zip shown in the Edit in the first post just to be safe. Just boot in to CWR through the Droid 2 bootstrap, apply the deodexer.zip and then the battery.zip.

I second this, and thanks so much for all you've made so far. I personally would love to get the stock battery in green (with percentages), facing the opposite way and draining from that direction (just like stock), but also with yellow at 30 and red at 15. Would this all be possible?

Thank you!

And yeah, I figured that out the first time I tried. What a mess. Had to reload my clean backup and start all over again. Definitely should just apply the deodexer first.

Is it OK to apply these over Bouchigo's BWC theme?

You can, but you are going to loose quite a few mods that I made to the framework and to the stock launcher.

Apply any of the zips through CWR.

Installed and upon reboot I now get Force Close of the "Voice Commands" app non-stop.

The icon looks very nice but Voice Commands is closing. Why is this happening and how can I stop it, or how can I uninstall the zips?

Which by the way now makes my phone unuseable. The Force Close popup immediatley comes back and I can't do anything else. HELP

Go to this post:

http://androidforums.com/droid-x-all-things-root/345556-theme-black-white-chrome-gb-v4-5-596-a.html

and get the Deodexer for v4.5.596 on your SD card and flash it though CWR. This will take you back to the stock theme.

Thanks for answering this for me, the deodexer is linked in the first post of this thread also.

Thanks all. Problem is I can't get to the SD card because of all the force closes. I can't tap them away quickly enough to change USB to mass storage...unless you have an idea.

I was able to tap through enough to start bootstrap but unless I can get the deodexer on the card I'm out of luck.

I was smart enough to make a backup of stock Froyo and can restore to it but I'd rather not.

...or I wait till I get home from work and put the sd card in a reader and drop the file from my computer.

That will work. Then just plug in your wall charger before you turn the phone on and it should boot you right into clockwork so you can flash the deodexer file.

Did all that but it did not boot into clockwork. Had to tap, tap, tap, tap the FC's, tap APPS, tap all the FC's, slide menu until I got to Clockwork. Booted up and installed the deodexer. I'm up and running. Now can I reinstall the battery icons above? I'm almost afraid.

Guess I spoke too soon. I went to check the Market for updates and upon choosing all for 3 updates the Market crashed. Upon reboot the downloads continued and the Market crashed again. When I try to open Market it just hangs. Maybe not related but is there an easy way to uninstall the battery icon?

Restored back to backup in CWR from prior to battery icon install and still have problem. Also some of my apps no longer exist.?. Not sure what to do other than SBF back to Froyo and start over.
