I have a Motorola Droid X (rooted). A few weeks later after I rooted it I searched the Market and didn't find Wireless Tether! Turns out the developers haven't made it yet, for reasons I am to lazy to find out. But anyways, bummed out, I found the Motorola Droid apk installation files on their website. After the installation I booted it up, said something about the kernels, but despite that, it works.
I recently got a Samsung Galaxy Tab from Verizon Wireless (my carrier). And I was confused that I had a usage on it while my phone and unlimited. It just seemed stupid to me.
So long as i have my Droid X fully charged, I can connect to it with my Galaxy Tab and not run up my bandwidth usage. FANCY!

First off...What?
2nd off, don't tether is you don't wanna be hit with a huge ETF bill. Illegally tethering is a breach of the TOS and will get your service terminated and net you a hefty bill
