So I really dont remember what I did with my phone.

I am rooted and uploaded some Rom quite a while back and havent changed it. My phone is running pretty slow and always boots into CWR whenever i turn on the phone. My camera shutter button wont work so i need to do the Home+Power button and its really annoying.

I wanna stay rooted but with a better and newer rom. I really dont know anything about sbfing or anything of that nature. I am asking, kindly, if someone could walk me through it

Bear in mind... when buttons quit working, at some point you won't be able to go into recovery to fix a boot loop or flash a rom or backup. I'd be very careful what you do. Hopefully the problem is software related and not a physical button failure.

yes im pretty sure thats exactly what it was. Thanks for the help and ill be careful when doing this. Worst comes to worst i can use my friends incredible for a month or so till i get a new one. Would love to get this up and running on something new and fast

Just follow the tut Trophy gave you and you will be fine. I have said it before and I'll say it again, If you manage to brick a DX you MUST be one step below a monkey. That is one of the nice things about the X. Super impossible to brick it.

you can brick the dx easily

paint it the color of a brick, then lay it with bricks and say
my DX is bricked!
