Default CM7 Battery life.. WTF!?

I use my phone alot, but 79% after an hour and 40 minutes just seems unreal to me...
Phone dies half way through work, which means I could miss important calls, emails, etc.
My rooted commando got twice the life with the same usage...
CPU is at 300/600, nightly 154.
Am I being unreal, or what?

are you using CM7 on the Froyo kernel or CM7 on the GB Kernel?

Sounds like something has a partial wakelock and keeping the phone from sleeping.

Maybe I'm overthinking and just use the damn thing too much...
But the life still isn't as good as my commando was, and that wasn't undervolted/clocked, I expected better.

Somewhere in this thread is a setup for screen brightness. After I changed my settings to those numbers, I saw my battery drain go waaay down.

You can try the builds under Gingerbread. The battery life seems to be better and it is still being quite actively developed (the Froyo based one is basically dead now).
