You can also set the clock to display in the middle of the status bar if you want.

This is a nice find. That charging light was annoying me and the lack of 1% - however, seeing the 1% now I realize how terrible battery life is - LOL

I'm not finding the blade lockscreen option or the fm radio. Am I missing something or is that not available for this phone?

Those 2 things were just added into last nights build. The fm radio had a patch file in the op before this latest build. Scroll down to the current build:

It looks like the current build is dated 1/28 - that's the one I installed. Am I missing another build somewhere?

Yes. In the op it says current build in red and has a link to the 20120131 build. This following link should take you right to the download page. the 20120131 build you want is the one at the very bottom.

Quote from Pooka "My attempt at compiling those things in failed miserably :-) flash the patch over 31r1 and it works. Only thing new is blade lock style ".

The fm patch he's talking about is in the op.

Glad I jumped ship, then. I thought Miui worked great for my phone, but CM7 (especially with pooka's kang) is just FLYING. My phone needed the change, definitely.

This updated ROM is causing my phone to do all sorts of weird stuff. I think I'm gonna have to go back the old CM7 I had on here prior to flashing the update with the patches. I don't really need 1% battery anyway, although it was nice to have. Boo

MD5 is a checksum. It verifies that you have a good download. There are several apps for it in the market. Look for the one by Scary Alien (he's a member here).

Great, thanks for the info. The download page provides me with this...

Please wait while we prepare your download!

Filename: Pooka-CM4DX-GB-20120131.r1.zip

MD5sum: fb29b1a0c6e80e394d927b875f8faad6

Click to download the .md5

Click here if your download does not start automatically

Do I need the MD5sum file? If so, what do I do with it? Am I supposed to flash it? (It has the .md5 extension) Sooo...I need an app such as the one provided by "Scary Alien" to use the file??

I'm a dumb butt I guess..*lol*...Sorry, and thanks again. You guys are always very helpful. Thank you!

I'm not sure what the MD5 download is. You run the app and use it to calculate the MD5 and compare it to the MD5 you just posted.

If you use Firefox browser on your PC, you can get a file download manager addon called DownThemAll. I've used it for years with no problems. It has the nifty feature of allowing you to paste in the MD5 string of characters you see above and it will automatically verify the MD5 while downloading. If the verify fails, DownThemAll will automatically restart the download attempt until it gets a cleanly verified copy.

Hey, all. I've figured out how to enable HDMI out on the INt_Rnd_Pooka's CM7 builds on the DroidX. I'll post details soon on Rootzwiki once it's back up as that seems to be the "official" release conduit. Good things are just around the corner!

HDMI FIX FOR POOKA'S CM7 BUILDS

Yes, my friends, here it is. After some painstaking research and 11 failed attempts we have success at version number 12. I've figured out how to enable HDMI out on Pooka's CM7 builds. It is specific to his builds so I sincerely doubt it will work on any other custom build that someone may be brewing up. Of course, I'll share the secret sauce with anyone who asks as that is what these community ROM's are all about. Right? Now, on to the details.

What apps you'll need:

- RealHDMI ($4.13) or
- Xternal Display (free if you can actually find it)

Both are available in the market. I've only tested this with RealHDMI and that was for like 5 minutes this morning before I had to leave for work. Xternal Display seems to only show up for me if I'm using MIUI(which this current fix will NOT work on). Probably a fingerprint issue with CM7.

Potential Problems:

- Audio

I had zero chance to test audio this morning as I was already running late. It might be working fantastically or it might be mute. I have no idea. However, I'm so excited to get this out there that I'm willing to forgo that testing until later and let other people have a crack at this.

Special thanks go out to INt_Rnd_Pooka for providing me the tools from his build to make this possible and firstEncounter for his assistance in debugging the process. This wouldn't have been possible without them.

Install this in clockwork and you'll be good to go: DX_CM7_HDMI_Fix.zip
