Default No more blue 3G?

For the past two days I have not had the white 3G and signal strength icons turn blue, but yet I still get email and connect to the web. Even better, the stock browser is now incredibly fast. I haven't intentionally changed any settings (maybe some program did?).

Has anyone else noticed this lately?

No theme - for ROM, see my sig. Rooted 602, that's all. Stock launcher, too.

I've tried wiping cache already, just to see if something corrupted itself but for naught.

And I haven't installed or downloaded any new apps for well over a month, so some malfunctioning app has not been added recently.

i know that the droid charge has some issues with data every now and then, you can try a data wipe, it might clear it up, or you can try a different rom (which will require a data wipe)

Did a complete data wipe, cache wipe, and factory reset - no difference. So I SBF'ed another .602 and let it upgrade from .602 to .605 and left it at stock - no root yet. Now the blue icons are back. I'll miss Titanium Backup and a couple other apps but oh, well...

This happens to me from time to time. It's not a Rom issue, it's a network issue. VZW network will go down from time to time for maintanance, updates, etc. Then you have to deal with the trickle down effect. And of course the network brainfarts.

yeah...chances are you went through all the trouble for nothing...was most likely a VZW network issue...
