Default Help!

I just purchased a rooted Droid X but I can't get it to pick up Verizon's 3G network. Verizon says its an issue w/ phone (course I "forgot" to mention its rooted). Any suggestions?

I don't know if I can help you out very much with reception problems but just so you know you're going to need to post a lot more info if you have a problem like that. include the following and someone who knows more than I do might be able to help: if you're stock or have a ROM, system version, android version, modifications, if/when it works, other things that do/don't work (related) etc.

idunno is right a little more info is needed, though we know you are rooted, but are you rooted on stock rom? or another? is the phone even activated? have you tried *228? if that in fact fails, follow this procedure and you should be fine.

if that process helps you, make sure you thank SimsDelt (the op of that thread) for his knowledge and helpful insight, and if you post there, he will infact respond with any issues you will have.
