Hey guys, I have been noticing that my notification ringtone will go off when I get txt and the green light will go off but when i awake the phone there is no notification icon for a new txt message. And sometimes its the other way around, the green light won't go off but it will show i have a new txt.

Also Im having issue's with the alarm....idk if its just me or what but this is the second morning that my alarm didnt go off...the alarm works fine when i test it. Maybe its just me (probably is) but does anyone know a good "reliable" alarm app?

I think its a software and or User error issue, but I figured i'd ask everyone else if they have had similar problems.

I have an issue with the alarm- it may be similar to yours so I hope it can get answered....

I am a heavy sleeper and I need a very strong alarm. Sometimes even a strong alarm needs to ring for more than an hour for me to wake up. Because the volume on the DX is so low, when the alarm goes off, I don't even hear it. Even at maximum volume, I sleep right through it. If you don't answer the alarm, it rings for maybe 5 mins and then goes into snooze. After snooze time, it will ring again. If you don't answer the alarm a 2nd time, it just stays quiet until you answer the alarm.

WHAT STUPID LOGIC from whoever designed this. Why the hell wouldn't the alarm keep ringing until the end of time? I've come in late to work multiple times because of this - it can't be trusted. My old dumbphone would ring until it died out of battery. But these "smart" phones I guess are too smart for that - figures i'm just not going to wake up.

lol...I have the same problem with the phone. I don't trust just one phone to wake me up, I use two old phones plus the DX. The two older phones have three alarms also. Even then, I noticed I barely stirred from the DX's alarms so I changed them to ringtones, every loud ringtones (Avenge Sevenfold & Bad Religion). Since then I've had no problems waking up.
