Default Loss of 3G data service... how can I tell?

I did a factory reset 2 weeks ago, because when I uninstalled launcher pro, my dx went black. reboots did not help.

Since that factory reset, everything has appeared to be fine though.

I just read the big read stickied warning, and figured I better ask about the potential issue.

As long as that 3G status is still there, I think you should be okay. I don't think the reports started flooding in until yesterday.

I did a factory reset yesterday and 3G has been working. My signal does sometimes drop to 1X in certain areas of my house (while maintaining around 80-90 dbm signal) but it hasn't aversely affected anything

Don't think that applies to everyone, maybe depending on where you live, who knows, but sure didn't happen to my X. I did a factory reset just last night actually and manage to get my 3g back after I activated my phone.

Whew! Glad to hear that! Since supplies are still short, I don't want to part with my hardware unles I have to.
