Default pictures come out blurry?

Anyone elses pictures ever come out blurry. was trying to take a pic with one hand and i dont know if there is something wrong or if it just really has to be held stable during the picture?

Have you tried taking photos with both hands? I haven't really had any issues unless the object was moving around or i wasnt very still. If all your photos come out blurry, then there could be something wrong with your phone.

My pictures all always blurry and full of noise. Unless I'm outside with plenty of light. Even inside with plenty of light they are absolutely atrocious looking.

Hmm... if you can, try looking at another Droid X to see if its the same. I know that for me, my phone takes really nice pictures. I will have to post some more from my night in LV.

Have you tried "steady shot" under the "scenes" option?

Having said that, I wasn't always thrilled with the pics from the default camera. I purchased the full version of Vignette and have been really pleased with pictures it produces. The image stabilization in Vignette is really good.

Make sure the lens is clean that was my first problem with pics.

You guys realize that there are settings, filters, scenes that will fix all of these issues?

Also, you are supposed to press the camera button half way down, let it turn green(not red) and then fully press it down and bing bang boom, an amazing picture.

i've found there's a lag when you're focusing / shooting - try holding the camera still until you see the photo for review on the screen.

that said, i'm much happier with the pics I get from Camera360, so look into that or vignette, as mentioned above. color seems much better balanced in the default state.

So are you saying Vignette isn't as good as Camera 360? I have that too haven't played with it yet.
