Default Something like itunes, that works with droid

I really love how itunes and the iphone worked together. So i'm looking for a program like that that works with the droid X. What I used itunes for mainly was getting podcasts. All the other syncing software I've seen wanted to sync ALL the files in that podcasts folder, which can be alot. So I would like to be able to only sync over the ones I select.

Look at doubletwist in the market. It works just like itunes. You can even sync over the air.

I think I might have found exactly what I needed, "salling media sync". It will recognize unplayed and new files in your itunes podcasts. The free version copys everything over every time it syncs making it really slow for the free version. The paid version for 22$ gets rid of that. I'm thinking as much as I will use this 22 dollars is alright. Can't seem to find anything else that does what I want.

Did you try Doubletwist? It's a whole lot less than $22 and works very similarly to iTunes. Actually, it will sync playlists/subscriptions with iTunes if you want it to.

I did try double twist. It wasn't what I wanted, unless i'm using it wrong. It looks like all it does is straight copy folders. I have several podcasts with over 50 or so episodes in a folder. I don't want to move over ALL those files. I only want the files that have been marked as new and unwatched and the old ones taken off. Also I don't really use playlists in itunes.

Ahh... well, I don't have folders of podcasts, but I do have subscriptions, and there is an option to sync only the unlistened podcasts as well as the option to prune podcasts after they've been listened to.

Doubletwist kinda sucks IMO. Check out iSyncr, it will let you continue to use iTunes and sync your library from iTunes to your Droid.

Thanks jdk33, I'm not at home right now so I can't try out that program right now, but it sounds like it may do what I want.

sorry, now that I am home and got to try out iSyncr it seems that it doesn't do what I want. The only program i've used that seems to do what I want is Salling Media Sync. May have to just pay the 22$ for it.
