Default Latest Update

I have a Droid X running 2.3.15. It's rooted, and I have frozen some of the bloat ware using Ti BU. I haven't removed any programs. I have tried to do the OTA update with no sucess. I have also unfrozen all the apps and tried the OTA update with the same results. Is the only way to do this to flash the SBF back to 2.2 and update from that point. I'm assuming that I will loose root if I do this also. Is there a rout back to root after the latest OTA update. Thanks in advance.

Its the only way Ive heard of. Its a big pain to try and get this update.. I have yet to get it and Im not sure I really care that much.. I keep trying with no luck.. People who arent even rooted are having the same problem. From what I know (Ive never done), flashing the sbf is very time consuming. Im not sure what all this update includes but Im not sure its worth it, for me anyways.
