I generally keep the location services off unless needed. Unless I need to use maps for navigation, I just click "skip" and proceed. And when I need to turn on the location services, I click the other button and it takes me to the right settings screen right away.
Now that I lost the reminder dialog, I need to quit maps, go to settings, click on location and enable GPS etc. No matter where I checked I was unable to get it to prompt me to turn on the location sources when I start the maps app.
Does anyone over here know how to get the maps app to prompt me to turn on the location settings whenever I open it? Or the other thing that will help is to be able to jump directly to the locations settings screen from the maps app.
thanks a ton!

I wonder if the prompt comes back when you update the app.
