The music app on my droid x will not open. I am unable to search for music. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've read elsewhere on these forums of the stock music player breaking after an update. There was no resolution given as we were talking about how great PowerAmp music player is at the time.

I know it's not a direct answer to your question, but try downloading the trial version of poweramp and see if you like it better. The Equalizer on it is killer.
