Droid X Foursquare, Google Maps, Latitude Issue
HI everyone! I just started using my Droid X last week (activated Thursday evening). Previously I had an OG Motorola Droid. Ever since I've had issues with the 3G "location."
Now I pretty much always keep GPS or WiFi off unless I have a need to use it, same as my Droid. I used to be able to use Google Maps, Latitude, Foursquare etc and other programs that would at least get a pretty decent close guess at my location based on my 3d triangulated position.
When I open up Foursquare's Places tab however it tells me
"Your location cannot be found! Make sure the network or GPS location services are turned on, then try refreshing the venues again!
In Google maps it tells me "Please enable a My Location source in system settings."
Can the Droid X only do location stuff when the GPS or WiFi are active? Does it not do it over the cell network anymore??
