Lightbulb Charging Droid X without battery

Hi all,

I'm trying to figure out how to charge the android off of an external battery (i.e. take out the Lipo 3.7) and have it run directly off of a different outside battery. This is for a project for which I am hacking the Android and need it to be hooked up to a charge controller. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks!

I think you may be out of my leauge here, but just for the heck of it. Would a cable that powers the phone without the need for a battery work? Or how about an external charger that you can plug into the wall or computer via usb? Team Black Hat (TBH) sells the cable for $50 and ebay sells the external charger for about $5.

Clarify if you are looking for another solution.

I'm not sure I understand the problem. Your phone has leads for the stock battery. Wire it up.
