Default Wakelock issue Droid X

I searched and cannot find any similar issues, but im sure they are out there.

A week after GB update, i noticed my battery draining faster than ever. seeing what was chewing it up, *Wakelock* was at the top of the list. Cannot force close or report it.

Last night i went to bed with 100% charge, left it unplugged to see if i could repeat this...sure enough, i woke up (about 8hrs of sleep) and the battery went from 100% to 20%... *wakelock* was at the top of the list again in battery usage.

is there a fix for this? has this been a problem before?

first day after GB update, battery life was great. ugh. Thanks for any help!!

The first thing I would do is a factory reset on the phone and wipe all the old data. Then start all over. If it's still an issue, it may be hardware related. Perhaps someone else has seen this.

I was having the same problem. When I checked battery usage it would say wakelock then change to FancyWidget. I uninstalled the widget and every thing is ok
