Default why doesn't my android clock widget keep the right time

every time I swipe to use my phone the sense analog flip clock widget is the wrong time. I swipe to a few screens, come back to the home screen and still wrong. is there something wrong with the settings on my phone? this is the second weather/clock widget that acts like this.

thanks

Do you have the correct time zone?

Does your time reflect the time in settings where you set it? (Settings... date and time.)

Yes I do, sorry forgot to mention that after 20-30 seconds of using the phone or I touch the widget itself it jumps to the correct time....very strange

Then uninstall the app and reinstall it OR find it in settings... applications... and clear data in it.

If that doesn't help, the problem might be a failing (or filling) or just plain slow sdcard.
