Default MB usage

Is it even possible to use 158 MB in one month? That's what My Verizon icon is showing. The cycle ends tomorrow. I've never gone over 4-5 MB before, and no, I'm NOT tethering at all! Thank God I've got unlimited data!

That's actually quite low. I never tether and I hit 1.6Gb (1600Mb) when I first got my DX. I average 600Mb per month usually.

Your biggest consumers of Mbs:
Streaming Video (Netflix, YouTube, etc)
Streaming Audio (Pandora, Spotify, etc)
Sending photos via email (1.5 to 3 Mb per pop)

Yeah, I usually use around 2-3 GB/month. I had a brain fart and was thinking MB was GB and thought I used 158 GB this cycle...duh.

This is what bothers me with tiered pricing. They market the phone as these multimedia devices - play games, watch movies, listen to music, etc... But if you want to do any of that you'll need more than the basic plan. At least if you don't want to be constantly checking your usage.

All I do is use pandora on the drive to/from work and play a few games but I am starting to reach the 2-3 GB per month level.

I don't even browse the web that much but I seem to be sending out ~50 MB a month. I don't know what that could be.

Wifi will do that... Nearly all my market updates, rom downloads, etc are via wifi. I don't tether. O/W mostly just email and some light browsing via 3G.
