File Browsing via Bluetooth (CM7 <--> Win7)
Hey everyone,
I have a froyo CM7 droid x for which I have been trying to get my bluetooth to work with my pc (Win7 Ultimate, 64-bit). for some reason i can "connect" to my laptop but I can do pretty much nothing. I want to be able to do file browsing so i can drag and drop files to and from pc to phone, stream audio, etc, but for some reason I cannot get either my pc or phone to cooperate. when i use Bluetooth File Transfer, it tries to connect but after about a minute of trying to connect it tells me "can't connect with target device because it lacks the "File Transfer Profile" (OBEX FTP) and/or the "Object Push Profile" (OBEX OPP) Bluetooth services."
similarly from the pc side, I can only send a file by right clicking on the Bluetooth logo and selecting "send a file" but i cannot find any way to actually set up browsable directory on my computer.
everything is set on discoverable. no passwords are in place. sharing is on. so i dunno what the issue is!!!
thanks in advance for the help.
