Default Successful access to Google wireless tether

I finally have Successful access to Google wireless tether.
installed version 2.07 on Droid X.
rooted it with Visionary version r14.
My PC's connection to internet drops after 10 mins. When I reboot my Droid X in "Safe Mode", it drops after 20 or 30 mins -after which I had to reboot into Safe Mode. Finally figured it out -use Droid X's Settings->Running Services to slam down/stop all services except:
Extdispserv
Networklocationser
Multitouch
Works great after the above shutdown of services- for 3 days.

(After an hour, Droid X automatically added the following services, but DID NOT interrupt my connection with "NO ACCESS":

callername
Extdispserv
socialwidget
blurmessage
Feedreceiver
Weatherservice
Weatherwideget
Newswidget
statuswidget
Quickcontactserv
newswidget
Messagewidget

Download service
Google messageing
Syncserv
Networklocationser
Mediaplayback
Multitouch

So the above services did not negatively impact my tether )

Default getting disconnected after 20 mins

Hi,
After having success connecting my IBM PC to the internet for a month, I started to experience disruption after 20 mins of connection. When I tried to stop Google Tether on my Droid X, it would try to stop but would not. My IBM PC notebook would show that my Google Tether was still available as a wifi source. I tried to "Force stop" my Google Tether and it shows on my cell phone that it stopped, but My IBM PC notebook would still show that my Google Tether was still available as a wifi source. I had to turn off my cell phone and turn it back on into SAFE MODE so that I can use my Google Tether for another 20 mins.

I think a new application that I have installed would start after 20 mins - which interrupts my Google tether software which disrupts my wifi connection. I did install System Monitor and "The Weather" apps, but removed them after I started experiencing problems; that did not help. Anyone have any other suggestions as to what to do? Should I try upgrading to the latest version of Google Tether ?
