WS Camera Mode to 8mp Work Around

I hope this isn't a dupe, but I figured this out tonight...

If you add the Motorola Widget "Photo Frame Plus" to a home screen, and use the camera button on that widget, the camera comes up in 8mp. At least it does on mine.

Turning on the camera via the dedicated camera button and the camera icon from the app drawer still come up with WS as default since Gingerbread, but this photo frame seems to be exempt. You lose a bit of functionality, IE "Settings", but for those quick shots...I suppose this will work for me for now.

BUT THEY STILL NEED TO GET THIS (and other things) FIXED ASAP!!!

DX1 and Froyo. Accept no substitues

I recently used a DX2 and had to use the Camera......what a pain in the ass!
