Default The fix for dropped 3G

For me it was anyway. No problems doing this in the U.S.A. per Verizon:

>Settings
>Data Manager(on the DX you may have to wait a bit for it to come up, DX2 is instananeous)
>Data Delivery
>Make sure all 3 boxes are checked!

Have not had 3G drop since doing this.

Dropped 3G? Oh, yeah, you're still on Froyo! I haven't had 3G drop for a long time, but I think that stopped for me on the second GB update. Original GB update did give me some issues with 3G drop, but they fixed that pretty quick, and it hasn't been a problem for quite a while. You should probably mention that this fix is good for people on an old version of Android, lol!

How does one get a GB update? Haven't seen instructions anywhere.

Settings -> About Phone -> System Updates

Just a warning that if you are rooted, you'll want to use VooDoo's OTA Root Keeper app from the market to keep it. There's a way to root afterwards, but it isn't easy.
