Cannot Cancel Mass Photo Upload
A while ago I wanted to upload all of my photos (tons) to my dad's computer. My Epic 4g is not a recognized device, and none of the mounting options have been able to make it so, unfortunately.
I selected about 2000 photos (one of my gallery categories) and selected to "share" them to Picasa. The Picasa software/account is my dad's, and his login uses a gmail.com email address. Somewhere in this, his gmail account was added to my phone's automatic syncing. What happened next is TONS and TONS of pictures became available to view on my phone, however as for uploading to their Picasa account-- (which was the reason I got into this mess) maybe five(?) pictures have uploaded from my phone to his computer. When I view the upload screen, all pictures say they are "queued," and then whichever one is next will fail uploading altogether once it finally gets around to that, and it will "retry" (to my horror). The options when viewing the upload screen are "cleanup" (files already uploaded) or "pause," (files from being uploaded). There is no "cancel" (the madness!) button.
I un-synced my dad's gmail account from my phone, and immediately all of the pictures that had downloaded onto my phone from his picasa account were gone (yay!). This has not cancelled the upload. Turning off the phone does nothing. Taking the battery out does nothing. I am not seeing anything under "settings" that can help me. How do I stop files from trying to upload?
