Default If the Eris didn't have a removable battery...

...how many of you still would have rooted? Seeing as a battery pull is a catch-all problem solver in the root world.

Thing about it... one mess up and you'd be stuck with a phone with a black screen, stuck in a boot loop, or stuck at the skateboarders until the battery dies!!

I probably wouldn't have gotten the phone if the battery was soldered in/irremovable, never mind rooting it.

agreed...... I would never buy a phone that doesnt have a replaceable battery....... forget the fact of battery pulls to reset.......... batteries are just too unreliable...... wouldnt want to have to get a refurb exchange just because of a crap battery....
