Talking Transparent Facebook Widget

Yes, I KNOW the eris is old and outdated and there's little to no support for it anymore, but until my financial situation changes and I can afford to upgrade, I'm going to make due for now.

So I've done a bit of research and I've found a lot of transparent widgets for Facebook, but when I apply them with metamorph it never sticks. However, (I've never thought of metamorphing a different app to see if maybe I'M doing something wrong...till just now)
I'm assuming that it doesn't morph because they are either files for the nexus one, or files for the OLD version of Facebook (the new one has chat and check-in/places).
Right now I'm running Vanilla Tazz with Android version 2.2.1 and ADW and DiY OwnSkin for my live walpaper/desktop background. My clock, calender, and battery status are part of the wallpaper so don't need to be transparent as they fit flawlessly, my music and weather widgets both come with transparent background options (as all widgets should IMO)
I like to keep my desktop fairly clean and organized looking and that stupid white and blue Facebook widget sticks out like a sore thumb. I guess I could live with out the widget all together but I'd really like to find a way to keep the NEW version of Facebook and a transparent widget.

Any ideas???

(wow i have tried this 10 times and and while running through it as im writing it, this is the first time ive been prompted to actually reboot HOWEVER...after rebooting, morph did not stick.)

using vanilla tazz 2.2.1 awd and DiY OwnSki here are the steps I'm taking. (I am rooted have metamorph, and have busy box)

-I attached phone to computer and loaded trasparent chaos to my sd card
-open metamorph, start checks
-(i've already extracted and unzipped the file so i dont htink i have the zip anymore)
-main menu
-pick existing theme
-transparent chaos (i also have dark metal, and transparent widgets, niether of which work for me)
-click on the xml file
-apply facebook
-prompted to reboot

Well I found this...
Smoked(Transparent) Facebook widget - xda-developers

but the installation instruction might as well be in Greek, can someone dumb it down for me or make a step by step guide?

I'm not a complete newb, but I still have a lot of learning left to do!
