Default How do I go back to stock? I currently have nonsensikal v4.6 blue and want to try out xtrSENSE.

I'm going to give my Eris one more try and just try out a different ROM. Someone from another site told me that I would need to wipe my Eris before doing anything, and that's what I am needing instruction on.
I'm planning on trying out the xtrSENSE rom because someone else recommended it, but if anyone has any better suggestions, I'm open minded. The main issue I'm facing is a slow phone, obviously.
Help is much appreciated!

You don't need to go back to stock - you can do this without unrooting and rerooting.

- download xtrsense from here and copy the zip file to the root directory of your SD card (or, in the top of your SD card - not in a folder or subfolder)
- restart the phone in Recovery (usually power down, then hold VolUp when you power up)
- go to the Backup/Restore menu, and do a Nandroid backup of what you have now (just in case)
- go back to the Main Menu when that is done, then to the wipe menu
- wipe data/factory reset
- wipe Dalvik cache
- go back to the main menu, then choose the Flash a zip menu
- choose the xtrSENSE5.0.1.zip file and let it rip
- restart the phone

You'll need to set everything up again, but those are the steps. To see an illustrated strep-by-step, see this thread (starting from the fourth post): Universal Eris Root for Dummies!

Thank you verrryyy much. I've been ghosting the forums reading up on instructions, haha, and admittedly it gets very confusing to me at least. But I will give it the good old college try tonight and see what my little Eris can do!
