Default Eris ROM Support for Flash Video ??

I believe that my Eris has had some version of flash since it came out of the box. Maybe not Adobe Flash, but some emulator that HTC cooked up and burned into the system. At any rate, flash has always worked on my Eris. Now I want to root and install a ROM. Will XTRSense support flash? Will GSB? Will any other ROM? I want more app space, and longer battery life, and tether, but I also want web video. Recommendations?

xtrSENSE, xtrROM, xtrRCMix, Evil Eris, and (I think) Tainted Tenzo all have the same Flash Lite compatible player as the stock Eris. I never use it myself, but I know it's there in those ROMs. You will not find it in most/any of the Froyo and Gingerbread ROMs for the Eris (there are some Sense-based ROMs for the Eris, but none are feature-complete yet.)

At any rate, it's not that hard to go back to stock from a rooted ROM, so you can surely try it out.

If all you care about is web video and don't need Flash per se, then a browser such as Skyfire will do what you need.

I guess that I should have elaborated about this. There is a ROM called Flashback21v2 which will reinstall the stock Eris ROM and remove the custom Recovery that you use to flash (and backup, etc.) new custom ROMs. After flashing that ROM and restarting the phone it is exactly stock, so you'd go right back to where you were when you started.
