aaand i keep getting loops. after being up for a few minutes,i get a loop back to the cm7 skatboarding guy ill let you know how it works after i actually get it running

looks like its happening when i go to the market.

edit 1:
searched the thread and found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12854861&postcount=47 so maybe its the same issue... when i try and download an app from the market its rebooting.

it sat here all morning and wasnt rebooting when i got home, and was fine while i played with it till i went to the market, then BAM! skatboarding alien. i tried reinstalling with the gapps from the thread(even tho i presumed it to be the same) and no difference.

tried fixing permissions... will report baack

edit#2:
nope, went to the market and tried to download titanium pro key and BAM! skateboarding alien

the developer cant get his phone to replicate the prollem,so maybe ill try the next version.

i do like the android wallpaper and the funky font. but how well it really works yet,i dont know.

success! i dont know if it was v3,or the workaround, but its running, and ive downloaded all my apps from the market without rebooting

first impressions are its pretty smooth. just as much so as GSB.

the dialer seems not laggy,BC. i cant make any calls obviously, but when i go to it and push numbers they pop up right away.

definately give it a shot

just memeber if you get rebooting when you go to the market by flashing the rom and gapps at the same time, wipe it all, then go back and flash the rom, reboot,go back to recovery, flash gapps, then reboot again.

some folks may not care for the font, but i inda like it. i also kinda like the supplied wall paper with all the lil red android fellows, lol.

I've been a member here for a while and forgot lol. Someone linked me to this thread so I figured I'd check it out and see what people are saying
Not sure if you saw there is a V3.5 now as well. It's the same as V3 but with Brainmasters SD speed increase built into the ROM. I'm working on adding some other things to try and make it a little faster and hopefully not hurt the battery life at the same time. I am also doing some experimenting today with the collins_ph battery tweak. I have it set currently to option 2 - 710 defaults and the battery life is incredible so far and the ROM is running really smooth with it. I'm going to try it tomorrow at the 806 defaults and see how it responds. I'll be posting my findings in the thread in the next couple of days.

Did you send me 3.o or 3.5? Anyway I did as you suggested and flashed the rom rebooted and then flashed gapps. Installed fine. Then went out to dinner and flashed back to GSB. I'm back now so I'mma going to flash back to Condemened and check her out.

I got it. Flashed over 3.0 but it acted a little funny so I did a factory wipe and reflashed it. The phone dialer seemed a little faster with 3.0 but I'll give it a run today and report back.

i was just gonna say that it has worked consistently since i flashed it(knocking on wooden desk )

its just a tiny bit sluggish when first waking up(i may up my min in setcpu and see if that helps, but its not bad to deal with it this way),and its a little slow to open the weather on beautiful widgets. also the 4d appdrawer is not super smooth, but regular vertical works fine. various apps still open and close smoothly as does opening and closing the app drawer.

all in all,its still working well for me,and i think ill leave it on here to see what future versions bring

One thing I can say is y'all need to turn the volume down. The first time the phone rang I thought the speaker was going to blow out the phone. :EEK

Props on this ROM. It is solid. Market works as it should without any hiccups, once booted and widgets refresh, it runs smoothly, there is no music skipping on sleep, everything just works. The increased volume is also welcome addition and the phone responsiveness is great. Wake from sleep is not sluggish.

I guess this means my brief stint back into the world of stock has just ended.

I am running GoLauncher and all the related addons which compliment this ROM very nicely.

yeah,im diggin it too. i noticed another one on xda(gingerglass) but looked like lots of stuff still broken,so well give that one a while

i played with mine for a couple hours last night and still my only complaints are the small amount of lag on wakeup and the time it takes for beutiful widgets to open the weather. i worried on tasty bread that BW was actually slowin things down, cause i really dont remember this lag prior to putting it on my homescreen. and i had the same issue with tastybread. maybe ill freeze BW for awhile and see if it helps any

im running ADW EX and its workin well also... except the scrolling of the 4d app drawer was a little jerky.

BC how did your day go with it? lil guy like the dialer?

I really didn't give 3.0 a try but seems it did better than 3.5.

ADW from my experience is a lag king. I went with the go launcher and replaced BW (which I suspected caused additional lag) with the go launcher weather widget. I also let go launcher replace my phone functionality as well. So far, I'm pretty happy with it. I never thought that anything would replace launcher pro, and while it seems this is a blatant launcher pro rip, it takes it to a whole other level that begs me to switch.

I put my test phone on 806mhz and it froze. Put it on 787mhz and it's running fine.

I do have a flashable zip somewhere on my hard drive that will return the volume levels to stock if you don't like the louder levels lol. I like it loudder myself.... sometimes I don't hear it. I forgot to post that zip with the rom and no one had compalined before so I didn't worry about it lol.

I set mine to 806 with collins_ph... which from what I gather, it will only go that high when plugged in and not on battery... and I didn't notice any advantage to using that option. Then when I plugged the phone in... It froze and reboot lol. I wouldn't recommend going that level myself

I set mine to 806 with collins_ph... which from what I gather, it will only go that high when plugged in and not on battery... and I didn't notice any advantage to using that option. Then when I plugged the phone in... It froze and reboot lol. I wouldn't recommend going that level myself

The volume is fine. I like it loud because of being on jobs sometimes I can't hear. When I got a call it sounded like the speaker was blown. It would be great if it was clear at that volume. As far as those settings, they are on a spare phone I use to test different things before putting them on my daily driver.

Also I've noticed on my daily driver, when returning to the home screen, I don't have anything across the bottom, ie can't access apps.

I'll mess with the external speaker levels and adjust them back a hair... I don't really get the distortion on mine so it'll be tough to tell for me but I'll take it a little at a time untill we get to a happy medium

Which launcher are you using? I haven't come across that at all but I'll definitely see if there's something there. I'm also debating using a different default launcher for the ROM. I've grown a little fond of Go Launcher over the past couple of months personally..

I was using go laucher ex on gsb. When I flashed your rom and rebooted I got the home screen in your screen shot on xda, however when I went back into recovery and flashed gapps and rebooted I got your home screen but my wallpaper from gsb which is fine because it's my granddaughter's picture (she's a diva in training ) also I have pictures associated with a couple of contact's, my granddauhgter's being one of them and her picture is gone whereas the others stayed. I also read on your xda thread that someone said some of his apps had garbled names under them and so does a couple of mine but I didn't read on to see if you fixed that. Edit: I just read where changing the font should correct that. My test phone has your wallpaper on it but I haven't flashed gapps because it's not activated so I can't make calls on it and my app's are on the daily driver. How can I tell what laucher I'm currently using?

Edit: Changing the system font corrected the garbled app names.

Edit: Changing the system font also upon reboot gave me the option of three lauchers ( launcher pro, Go Launcher EX, and ADW) ( IDK ) so I chose Go Launcher as my default and the pictures on contacts were restored.

hmm,adw is smooth on my other phones, but maybe ill give go launcher a shot ont he eris

bc,sounds like you accidentally hid the launcher i do it sometimes on ADW and have to sort of swipe up or down at the bottom where the launcher should be to uncover it. if theres a "restart" somewhere in the launcher settings that should bring it back,too...

Can you answer the phone within a reasonable amount of time? That's the problem I've been having.

What I have noticed when I receive a call with both this and gsb it will ring a couple of times before the phone wakes up, then the unlock slider, then the number, then the contact ( if it's a contact ), then it goes to voicemail before I have a chance to see if I want to answer or not.

Just wanted to confirm that I am getting the same lag on incoming calls as well. I know it's been posted on GSB and I also had it on Tazz's CM7 Roms as well. I'm not exactly sure what is causing it but I'm doing my best to try and find out what it is. Hopefully it will be addressed soon though Just bear with me as I try and correct it and keep in mind that this is my first Rom lol. I'm still learning as I go on some things. I'm hoping to get everything ironed out soon and start a themed version as well. I'm thinking about mixing my cyan skulls with the blackened theme if you guys have seen those... or maybe taking a whole different approach on the theme. Haven't quite decided for sure yet. I'm also thinking about doing a version with all the CM stuff cut out of it and adding Conap's CPUBoost for those that wish to overclock so it will be a fairly light rom and probably a bit faster. I'll have to do a bit of testing on that first though.

I was also wondering, it hasn't been reported on xda and I'm not experiencing it at all. But is anyone having any 3d gallery problems that you've noticed? Just want to get confirmation that no one is having any issues with that as well.

I also posted a flashable zip in the OP on xda to put the volume levels back to stock if any of you would prefer the stock volumes. I'm not real familiar with this site yet so I'm not sure if it's acceptable for me to post those same download links here as well? I'll have to find out lol. I'm also experimenting with some different fonts. The one I put in the Rom is what's causing some out the strange characters you are seeing and I think the next update I'm going to leave the font stock and post a few of my favorites if anyone else wants to use them. They might not be some of your tastes as I'm a bit of a dark person so my taste could vary differently than a lot of people lol.

As far as my interaction here... Thank scotty for that, not me lol. He started the thread here and I was told about it so I thought I'd come see what people are saying here. The thread on xda is fairly quiet so I'm not really getting much feedback compared to the amount of downloads the Rom has. Which gives me the impression people are happy with it but I still want to make sure I do what I can to keep things at a good medium for everyone that uses it. Bottom line... Just because you aren't posting on xda where I spend most of my time doesn't mean your thoughts. concerns and opinions don't matter. You're still users of my Rom and that's what makes the difference. Whether you're on xda, android forums, droid forums or none at all. If you're using my Rom I want to know what you think and what I can do to improve on your experience

(So yes BC.... I'm watching you dude )

I did a quick browse and I think it's ok to post this link. If not feel free to shout, yell, cuss or kick my ass mods (or if you're a hot chick spank me please )

If you want your sound back to stock settings simply flash this from recovery

Majorplay said on your XDA thread he uses the go launcher dialer. I use go launcher ex, where do I find this dialer to try and see if it fixes my dialer problem? I don't play with my phone enough to know the difference between adw, launcher pro,go launcher or any others, Some of you guy's have got some killer setup's but mine is a plainjane because I don't know what to do with them. But if you need plumbing installed in your house or commercial building then I'm you man.

BC,all you gotta do is download them and try em out ive not personally noticed much difference in performence in adw vs launcher pro. LP has potential for nifty themed icons and such, and a fair amount of tweek ability. i like adw cause it lets me set a transparency in the app drawer. its not too big a deal, but a small thing that lets me set up my phone the way i like it. ive never used go launcher,so i cant comment on it. i think i may try it out, tho.

have you looked in the market for the go launcher dialer? i cant imagine where youd get it if its not there

I would like to try a new one as well.

I wouldn't know a 3-D gallerie if it bit me.

I guess I'm stupid with the launchers and what they can do.

I did look in the market this morning before you rolled over and turned the snooze off.

lol,bc the 3d gallery is just your pics. the pics look like theyre stacked up on top of one another when youre looking at the screen that displays all your pic folders. when youre in a folder, the pics kinda move around, not just scroll. i know thats vauge, but its the best way i can think to describe it. it just differes s lil from the old 2d gallery.

maybe there is a setting in go launcher for the dialer? hopefully majorlpay will enlighten us

I haven't tried it yet either and didn't know that go had a dialer so I installed it this morning to try it out. Search go contacts in the market if you want to try it as well
