Default Phone won't work

My Eris has recently been very laggy, i can't nandroid back up it, or load basically anything. It was like this yesterday but it fixed itself and now its being like that again. Also if I make the screen go black it wont turn back on. When it does load I cant scroll or load up any apps. I don't know what to do since I basically can't do anything.

I'd battery pull for now, then restarts; what are the settings in settings->cyanogenmod->performance->cpu settings (governor, min, max, set on boot)? If the governor is ondemand, try smartass, and vice versa.

Oh, and you may want to make sure that min is at least 245 (480 is fine, too), and max no more than 710. If it already is 710, try setting max down to 604.

Attach to your PC, try to save whatever you can, and reformat the card. See if that helps. The best way is probably from Recovery, the Partition SD card menu, choose Partition, and set the size of both ext2 and swap to 0 bytes.

I'm doing this now, it seems like its taking a while, it has the dots for about half a screen, im worried it wont work because all day ive been trying to do a nandroid backup and stuff but it wouldn't work, if it doesn't work is there another way I can do it?
