Eris and Eee Pad Incompatibility ?!
I have a rooted Droid Eris running XTRSense 5.01 on Verizon. The ROM came with Wireless Tether 2.02, which (unfortunately) sets up an Adhoc WiFi network. This network provides excellent Internet access to laptops and iPads. However, my spankin' new Asus Eee Pad Transformer (TF) does not acknowledge Adhoc networks and cannot find my Eris, much less connect with it. It connects just fine with the WiFI networks at home and at work, but it ignores my Eris. I apparently need to find an app for my Eris that will set up a Wireless Access Point, which I think is the same thing as an Infrastructure network. So far, no luck.
My only other option is bluetooth tethering. So far, I haven't found a way to make that work either.
Other than that, the TF rocks!
