I know I should put this on the Application forum, but I didn't get any response over there.

My daughter is starting to drive. I'm looking for an application that she can use to send all calls to voicemail and shut off all notifications while navigation is engaged. I know that Tasker would work, but I'm hoping there is something simpler.

Cell phone use by drivers under 18 is forbidden under MA law but navigation is allowed and I would hate for her to get lost when she has a powerful navigtion device with her at all times. I just want to be sure that while she is driving, her phone will not ring and she will not be notified of any incoming texts. No distractions.

Oh, and in case it matters, her phone is a stock Eris. Never rooted.

I have never used them, but I remember reading about this in the Globe a few weeks ago. Well, it may have been a story on channel 4 news as well.

I have a 17 year old son myself, but he's always been a stickler for rules. He turns his phone off when he gets in the car.

Thanks. The reviews on that didn't look too promising. I'll probably just have her turn the phone off. If she doesn't know where she is going, she probably doesn't need to go there anyway.
