Default 'Server Error' on Android Market?

I have a droid eris and a couple days ago, I tried getting onto the market and it kept saying, server error, I've taken out the battery, restarted it, it's not the location, i have service everywhere, my connection is good, it's getting really frustrating. Anyone else having this problem? Or know how to fix it?

Welcome to the android forums! A few things first, are you sure you didn't actually turn off 3G or something, like is the 3G icon appearing in your notification bar? Hold down the end key and when the menu pops up make sure it says "Mobile Network ON". If it is then perhapsss you have a lemon. Could try to do a factory reset that may do the trick, since you haven't had your phone for too long it won't be hard to set everything back up again

Anyone still having this problem (server error) try doing a factory data reset (home > menu > settings > privacy > factory data reset > reset phone (or reset tablet))

Thumbs up solution

well i was experiencing the same problem but i actually found a solution that i'd like to share,
if rebooting doesn't work, your wifi, 3d/4g is working fine, then do a factory reset..

after you do a factory reset make a new google account, yes it may suck but it will work after your create one your market error will go away, when that is done just sync in your old google account with the new one.
