Angry MyMetro

Shy of deleting it (which I'd rather NOT do until we have a reliable Recovery and ROM), how in the world can we stop MyMetro from CONSTANTLY starting and running in the background???
I've tried freezing it with Titanium Back Up Pro, Gemini, etc., but nothing can stop it... it's like it's bulletproof or something. lol
Anyone have any luck stopping/freezing this abomination?
(I'm rooted)

Install something like Root Explorer... Copy the APK and odex file(if any) and save it to SDcard.

Once you do that, just delete it. If you ever need it again just "reinstall it" and please the odex file in the same location as before.

Lol yes it's bulletproff, tried to freeze but doesn't worked, then moved it to another folder in SD card (like the other bloatware) with Root Explorer, other thing you can do is rename the extention, instead of *.apk you can change it to *.apk1

I'm glad to hear it... because I just got that processor/memory hog off my phone with titanium. lol (it did however, go kicking and screaming - requiring me to pull the battery for it's coup de grāce)
I saved a backup first, just in case though...
All is fine now, and my phone is noticeably faster too.

However -that being said, I think I'll play it safe for now and wait on you guys to hammer out the kinks in a recovery before I do something that noobish again. (is that even a word?)
I like to never got my Optimus up and running again after bricking it... luck, patience and persistent reading on this forum saved the day THAT time. lol (and I've so little hair left to pull out again )
