Default 4G and Phone at the Same Time?

Anyway to incorporate this feature within a ROM or a kernel, or something flashable or a Anycut setting to change this setting? Kinda blows having LTE and not being able to use it at the same time like you can on Big Red or Ma Bell....??

I really don't know what I'm talking about, but I think redhook mentioned that when metro moves their voice over to LTE this will be possible. I guess right now voice is over 1x/3G.

The esteem is capable of VOLTE. so there shouldn't be a problem with the Esteem for that feature .

That is correct, you'll be able to use voice/data at the same time once Metro enables VoLTE.

I am also wondering if they are going to push ics to the esteem... My thought is no because they had gingerbread for the optimus and never updated it. So it makes me believe that we are going to end up buying some other phone to get ics

Try searching the forums. As has been posted numerous times the Esteem will not be getting an official ICS update, it is not on the list of phones LG is updating to ICS.
