Beside the adb.exe and run.bat file, is there anything else I am supposed to be running?

Nope. Either the drivers aren't installed on your computer or internet connection is not enabled.

When you plug your phone in does your computer recognize your phone? From which THEN you can pull down the notification bar and select USB and click internet connection.

It should be working so obviously something is off somewhere.

Uninstall the drivers on your computer and reinstall the ones I linked you. Then try again.

Connected to the internet? What do you mean?

Plug in your USB cable. Pull down the notification menu.

Where it says USB connected click that.

Then click internet connection. Click done.

is that what your doing?

notification menu is where your battery and service icons are.

Internet connection under USb connection right?

Not a "I can browse the internet connection".

uninstall the drivers and reinstall them and try again. If you have done ALL OF THESE STEPS CORRECTLY it should be working so something is wrong somewhere.

People on ZVC have rooted their phone with this over and over again and when it doesn't work right it's because the person missed something. That's why Im saying make sure everything is right.

The CMD window should recognize the phone when you put it in internet connection under USB.

Does it say USB connected when you plug it in?

When you plug your phone in are you choosing mass storage to see if it recognizes it?

mass storage meaning 2 new drives will show up on your computer for the phone. Internal and Sd card.

What OS are you running on your PC?

Your PC might not be letting the drivers install correctly.

Well make sure any firewall or anti virus programs are all OFF.

your computer isn't letting the drivers install. I just ran those drivers and everything went fine and my phone still connects.

If that doesn't work just uninstall whatever you installed and connect your phone and let them install that way.

I really dont know. Are you sure your selecting Internet connection from USB connection from the pull down notification menu?

When you click on the Run.bat file and it says click enter to root. What happens after that?

Okay. Try not pluggin in your phone and hit enter on the CMD window to root. See what it says. If it's still open plug in your phone and see what it does. If it doesn't close out click on internet connection and see what it does.

When it said all of that did you try changing the different USB connections?

It's not recognizing your phone. Either means drivers or phones settings.

I got the drivers from LG's website. It says my phone is there. My phone settings are correct, I've triple checked. Link below is where I got the drivers.

Double click on ADB with phone plugged in and then open task manager and see if you see it running.

Im running out of options. If your doing everything correctly then your computer is stopping ADB from running from which your phone is not being seen by the Root program.

Do you have all anti virus programs and firewalls off?

I really don't know.

I don't know why else it wouldn't be working.

All I can say is try to install the drivers I linked in here only because those are the latest drivers that were posted with the Root files. Maybe LG drivers and these drivers are different IDK.

Try and get those drivers installed and keep trying the steps. That's all I can really say, I don't know why else it wouldn't be working.

No problem.

Once it does work that program WONT close out. It will run for a few minutes and your phone will reboot several times. Then the program will say ROOT complete.

Let me know if you get it.
