wifi tether should work as good as it alwyas did lol i didn't touch any wifi stuff, only messed with build.prop tweas and installer-script...

and thats not an official release i just asked you guys to test it for me i already know of a thing or 2 i will add back and/or change wont release it till its perfect.. also need to patch up ld-lg zvd.. latest update was not my best work.. kinda a mash-up so mt's kernel would work.. people kept saying it was causing major lag

but anyway i will do some more fiddling with it tonight if anyone wants to test.. also if there any serious/worthy requestes to throw in for new update now is your chance!!

as for wifi tether, it was never installed to systemin this rom to begin with.. always had it in data/app.. so you should be able to install it later on with no issues..??

Thing i noticed between 1.4.1 and 1.5 is 1.4.1 uses too much RAM while 1.5 has a lot more free.

yeah its not my images something to do with sleep tweaks i think... everything worked fine in 1.3.. but now i have freed up more ram with no battery sacrafice mt's kernel should work just fine along with wifi, wifi tether, hdmi etc...

now once i can garuntee this thing wont lag up after a day or two i will release the official

i CANT prevent 'user-caused' issues lol but ill make sure its not my fault

haha that should be my slogan or something

Well, I forgot to keep in mind that Its set to underclock while phone is asleep which may cause my lockscreen to lag a bit.
One question, what kernel do you prefer to use with the ROM, BrokenOut or yours? I'm using your since I never overclock and its smooth but just wondering.

Haha, lmao. It should be signature!

well that depends.. mine is stock LG-zvd, with the minfree tweak (internal task killer)

mt's kernel im almost positive has the same set values, the ability of over/under clocking and a few added features such as the two way call recording or whatever it is lol

seeing as how i never OC or record calls or any of that stuff i just use my kernel.. but if your looking for features and options i would use mt's..

if you use mt's and do not OC than im sure you should get a similar result as to my stock/speed kernel, but im not sure if any of the added 'things' may or may not cause extra lag and or battery drain.. MT would have the answers to those questions lol

Thank You for what you do. We love what you do )

Question, is there a way to change the bottom area of the dialer to all black so there's no dark gray.

Thanks.

I suggest you go back to 1.4.1 and wait for official release
Or try 1.5.t2

I flashed 1.41 i poked around to feel it out. Decided to go back to 1.3 but got an error in cwmr at the beginning of the flash process. That was the first time i had ever recieved an error in recovery (esteem and optimus m). I had done the wipe process already so i just restarted cwmr and flashed sucessfully. Not sure if this info is of value to you but i see how dedicated you are to your project so i thought i would bring up any odd problem i come across.

Well so far the aosp lockscreen is working a lot better! Hopefully it keeps working better. It's not the flashing text that's slowing the stock locksceen down?

shouldn't be.. thats only a replacement of the 'glow affect' images i edited..

there is like 11-12 images of a glow affect i edited with the letters you all see now.. maybe just keep them all blank but it still has to read the images and letters arents that much to read so it shouldn't lag like that

well i currently added a new battery mod to the rom as well... not sure how beneficial it is yet but thats why we have testers

also edit the vibrate notifiaction so it doesn't take up a lot of space & removed the 'headset' icon so hopefully the notifications wont get too cluttered on the right side

i also tweaked the settings of the auto-brightness feature down a little to save a little more battery as well lol enjoy test 3:

You tell the difference from 1.4 for sure. I know I can read up but what exactly was the problem.with the lock screen anyway. Will have to see on the battery life starting tomorrow ...not that I mind a certain lady texting me

the lockscreen? i have no idea lol.. think it was the sleep mode tweak i used in build.prop.. was on 1, which means it kinda like shut down the whole system when screen was off,

changed it to 2, which means now it will only close out and shut down all apps in sleep mode, unless your physically using them like music, phone etc.. so it lets the system snap back a little faster after a longated sleep period.. which is also why i added the new battery mod listed above, so i can be sure that you guys wont take a loss in battery life for performance boost but that always seems to be the conflict doesn't it? lol

lots of new features in the latest test.. and if all ends well after a few days of testing we will have ourselves a nice new release
