Default Error in Downgrading to ZVB

Well I downgraded to ZVB but it doesn't show my phone number and I can't call anybody and I dont even have good signal now. Should I try it again?

It never asked for my SPC never like the guide said but i thought that didn't matter. Any way to recover my phone? Still boots and everything. My number just doesn't show up

Yeah something went wrong somewhere. I would do D again and back down to B.

Unless I'm missing something......

Okay I'll upgrade to D then back to B. Cause I followed Gbiggies guide to the T and it didn't ask for my SPC. Do you think upgrading to D will fix this?

Scratch that. There's a way to manually activate your phone but i don't know how to do it. Call metro and get them to take you through the activation.

You have to enter some weird strain on numbers and the enter your phone number into your phone. I had to do it when i set up my phone. Sounds like that's the problem.

You don't have service right? If not call metro and activate. If you do then do the upgrade again.

That guide will fix it. Should at least.

The 111111 won't work. Gotta do the ##code at the bottom.

Don't know if I skipped a step or if it's my computer but it didn't ask me for my SPC. I just pressed start and it started downgrading it. Not sure what went wrong on my end.

Did you get it back like those guys said by trying to upgrade it? As long as your phone reflects ZVB that is.
LGNPST is always an option also.

Yes it does, but when i plug it in, A message pops up on the phone that says "You can not switch usb mode in test mode". Both the LG Update Tool and LGNPST pick up the phone. Picks it up As MS910ZVB

It's got to be in the activation.

Have you called Metro PCS and gone through the activation process with them?

Maybe BIG has some more answers. :/

This might work. For the esteem (and practically all new metropcs phones) it's ##626* then 587846.

Your MDN (mobile device number) is your phone number, SID is 6503, and you might have to call metropcs to get your MIN.

Call an authorized metropcs store and ask them if they can give you your MIN. Or call 888-8metro8. You'll need your phone number and your 8 digit pin (usually your birthday).

Default Factory Reset

I read thru all this thread and didnt see nobody mention a factory reset I downgrade from zvd to zvb all the time and most of the time I encounter errors but a factory reset takes care of most of those errors for the unknown prl I suggest the program called qpst

Default Qpst

Yeah have you tried it? if you havent google "manually changed prls on the lg esteem" and im sure the thread with instructions will pop up because besides changing the prls on your device you can change the spc code and since your phone is not asking for one in order to changed the prls you need the spc code and if it doesn't ask you for one maybe you can write one on your device and try to downgrade again to zvb
