Default HTC EVO 3D will not fastboot

So used HTC dev solution to gain S-OFF, and revolutionary to root. I have cwm which worked fine until i updated it through Rom Manager and now i cannot access recovery. I recently also noticed that my phone is now S-ON for some reason. So i decided to try to flashboot TWRP, but every time i try to do this my prompt merely says <waiting for devices> with no progress. Yes i am in fastboot usb through the bootloader. i decided to try to regain s-off using HTC dev solution again, but same thing occurs when i try to flashboot.

CDMA Evo 3D

Any thoughts?

My understanding of the htc method was that it gave a message that the bootloader was unlocked but it did not give s-off.

You were never soff htc dev only unlocks bootloader not soff. When updating recovery through cwm and htc unlock you may have killed your recovery. Can you still use your phone? Where are the instructions you are following?

My apologies, noob moment. Yes, phone works, I used this guide: How to Root Evo 3D! [2.08.651.2 and Later] [HTC Unlock Method] | HTC Evo 4G Hacks!

I had no intentions of root, I only bought this phone to be able to do java development for some extra work I have at school. I had no plans to root, but the battery life and stock UI became unbearable. I wanted to flash Cyanogen but kept getting errors. Downloaded rom manager and updated CWM, which did not allow me to access bootloader. It merely reset my phone whenever attempting to access.
I wanted to put on TWRP, but since flashboot wont work i am unable.
I decided to do factory restore using RUU but i get error 171 every time

The script presented attempts to push the image via fastboot. It does the same thing as any other fastboot attempt. The prompt just says waiting for devices and my phone boots into the bootlader and into fastboot usb. Someone in that thread is having the same issue, but no solution.
Any thoughts?

Did u try the script? I know exactly what it is, and that is why i posted it, it takes user error out of the equation. Also, are you sure jdk and htc sync are up to date?
