Default just got my two new batteries and battery battery dock delivered from Hong Kong for $12

Just received my two batteries and battery dock i got off ebay for $12 total. It was coming from Hong Kong so i thought it would take forever but I ordered them on june 6 and received them almost exactly a week later.

Already tried them and they both seem to work good right off the bat. I will update after fully charging and testing for a day. If works good I suggest you use this seller their name is ly.world

I researched and many htc batteries work in the evo these were the cheapest for htc touch pro2, and tilt2. but others work also. the batteries are 1500mah just like the original that came with the evo.

The battery dock has a large red light that turns green when charged and has a usb port for charging the phone while the extra battery is charging.

You just gotta watch sometimes that the stuff coming from over there is crap... I'm not saying that the stuff you got is crap, but there are ALOT of complaints about it being junk... Just FYI

2 1500mah Battery+Desktop Charger for Sprint HTC Hero - eBay (item 290444598681 end time Jul-12-10 13:15:38 PDT)

I'm fairly certain this is the eBay listing he's referring to.

Is it a fast or slow charger? The HTC one that comes with the EVO is a 3 hour fast charger which was a problem with the Diamond. Changed to a slow charger when I had the Diamond and it made a big difference in battery life. I'm still looking for a slow charger that works with the EVO.

evo battery items - Get great deals on Computers Networking, Cell Phones PDAs items on eBay.com!

I ordered from this store and they were great.
eBay My World - touch.world
I got them for my hero and the batteries last in my EVO the same amount of time as the red original one.

Edit: If nothing comes up, just go to ebay and search "Evo Battery"

I made sure I didnt search "EVO battery" because i wanted to make sure i got the cheapest batteries i could. I have a feeling that if its geared towards evo users its going to cost more.

They aren't. They've kept them pretty low. The batteries they send out say Touch Pro2 on them, but don't worry they're the same batteries for the TP2, Hero, and EVO.

I've been changing between my HTC battery and these, over the last few days while I've been watching the World Cup. They seem to work just fine and last as long as the HTC battery. I've been able to watch two full soccer games, and done some light browsing, with one battery and the second lets me see the entire afternoon soccer game and I still get home from work with about 40-50% charge remaining. So for me, these have done exactly what I bought them for, to let me see the World Cup while at work and not have to worry about running out of battery while using my phone for work related purposes.

Highly recommended as a spare set. The only thing I don't know how to test is if they really put out 1500mAh, or whatever the number is supposed to be.

dont you know by now, you shop around at the reputable stores and then check ebay! Those guys in hong kong always sell everything for pennies on the dollar compared to everyone else.

You really can't. You need something that puts a measured load on the battery and tests the rate of discharge.

For the same reason 90% of the "how I make my battery last longer by clicking my fingers and spinning in circles to the left" are meaningless. There are just too many variables.

I bought the 10 part accessory pack from this guy - hopefully everything works good. I've had great luck when getting stuff on ebay, and this seller had great feedback.

Ahh hell, for ten bucks, how can you not buy it? The charger alone is worth more than $10. Shit, it probably costs 10 bucks just to ship it over here.

These are great to have as spare emergency batteries. I just got my order in and everything seems fine. Hopefully I'll only use them sparingly though.

The only thing I'd be worried about knockoff batteries would be the battery exploding while its in your phone. I'm not sure how common that is though.

I've used this eBay charger and batteries for about 8 months. (From my Hero days.) They work just fine. It's hard for me to tell the difference between the HTC and these knock-offs.

I now have three sets of batteries and chargers. I like the chargers because they take about three hours to fully charge batteries. Nice and slow. You don't want a rapid charger. Rapid chargers produce heat and heat is the death of any battery, no matter the size.

I got mine last week from ebay as well. The charger is good. Not sure how fast it is since I charge my batteries over night. The batteries work good. Paid $11.99 with free shipping. Two batteries and a charger, cheaper than one oem red battery. Can't beat that.

I ordered probably around the same time as well, still have not received mine, probably still hung up at customs.

I agree for the price you can't go wrong. I was only looking for a battery charger for the spare battery I already had, (Seidio). But now I'll have some spares to keep as a backup.

I got my pack a couple days ago and so far it works pretty well. One of the batteries I got was definitely better than the other (the good one lasts just about as long as the stock battery, the other one remarkably less) but that's what you get for getting chinese knockoffs. The charger is GREAT...except when you try to charge your phone directly from it. However I charged the stock battery on the charger and FINALLY GOT OVER A DAY'S WORTH OF CHARGE. And this is with normal use, wifi on, etc. So it seems on a normal charge the phone does not charge it fully.

So it seems on a normal charge the phone does not charge it fully.
hmmm...interesting, ill hafta try that.

These work great:

ebay item # 170492546861 (search by item #, link not working for some reason)

In my hands 7 days later. Can't be beat for $10 shipped.

Thanks for the heads up on this ebay seller. I just bought the 11 piece accessory bundle (ebay item# 290445636149) for 19.99 shipped. I didn't need all of the items but the extra travel charger, the ear buds w/mic and the car mount were worth the Jackson to me.

After using these batteries + charger for the past 5 days I have to say that I am extremely impressed. I notice no difference between these batteries and the stock one. It has really turned the whole issue of this phone eating up battery life into a non-issue.

I never did either but got both orders fine. Took maybe 8 - 10 days each time.

I would estimate these batteries to having 10-25% shorter life than oem. When I use the internet and video playback on the oem battery, I get 4 hours. The china batteries last 3 hours to 3 1/2 hours.
Keep in mind my usage is continuous (such as streaming the espn World Cup non-stop). Under my normal usage I guess I would get about 10 hours.

I am in for a set, I will post feedback when we get them and have a chance to test them out.

I wonder how the seller even manages to ship these for $12 from overseas?

Because they probably cost less than a dollar to make.
