IOGEAR - GBMH211W6 - Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Headphones w/ built-in mic
these i have been searching everywhere for. i just got done talking with a support rep and he said they were discontinued, and has no idea why. they seemed to me to be perfect. and i was going to buy them. i would much rather have earbuds because they stay in place the best but wires get snagged in the gym.
has anyone had any luck with these iogear set or can i be recommended to a set similar or that fits my required standards?
I have the Sennheiser MM 200. Sound quality is top notched by bluetooth standards. I would wish a little more bass though. But in terms of comfort, I think this is one of the best of all Stereo bluetooth headsets, especially if you wear glasses like me.
For activities, I would recommend the Motorola MOTOROKR S9, though I don't have this, I heard better reviews from this then the Motorola HT820 which I do have. Sound quality of the HT820 is okay, but comfort wise it's uncomfortable bordering to slightly painful for my case because of my glasses.

i own an s9 and in my experience, it is garbage for body building. when working out you move around alot and the s-9 is bouncy and falls out of possition, not to mention it has a giant bar in the back and also in working out one must constantly press up against machine padding and it pops of imediately. worst bluetooth experience i have ever had. something that is onlt present on your ears is required like the one i linked above the small length of wire only connects the two peripherals and does not have any structure to leverage them off.
Motorola s305 I believe is what I have. Bought them for music but ended up being the best Bluetooth I've ever heard for talking. Most clear from my end and the other persons. Also pretty cheap. I got them from Verizon for 23 buks with overnight shipping included.

but then that still seems to be connected by what looks to be a rigid structure at the back!
i am about to have the iogear one for what looks to be dead cheap and so i will comment on how it performs! although i doubt they will become my permanent decision because i like earbuds over the "Over the ear" kind
I was looking for something I could use while working out, but also something with a microphone so I can switch over to phone.
The sound is supposed to be amazing with these, but what I'm most excited about is the ability to use any headphones with it. I plan on plugging it into my stereo and just stream music from my phone.
Guys, I'm not sure how many of you are fortunate enough to be able to wear ear buds when working out, but I can't.
I have to wear behind the ear style headphones when I run. In fact, I've tried a few, and my favorite are these cheapos I got from Amazon. For under $30, it's a freaking steal. 45 min - 50 min of use a day and they last a week and a half. Charges fast, pairs easily, sound quality is good when talking on the phone (yes it has a built in mic), volume can be made way louder than you would want, and for the deal, you simply cannot go wrong. I've been using them for over 7 months now and I've only charged them it seems maybe less than 10 times, and like I said, I use them every day. I couldn't bring myself to spend $100 or anything even close to that when there are these available for the price. I can even talk on the phone while I run, and as soon as the call is ended it switches back to Pandora.
My set up is sweet. HTC Evo, armband holster, and a set of bluetooth headphones. It's every runners dream.

Glad to hear it. My brother got those. I have the S9HD's just in yesterday. Pair easily enough. The dsound is good and I am still figuring out the mic. You can adjust the mic volume and I think I finally have it where people can hear me okay.

just got my backbeat 903's. so far they seem great. feels like they want to stay in place. tomorow at the gym is going to be the real test!
Update us wit the comfort on these. The headphones that fit behind the ear like that tend to become uncomfortable after wearing them for an hour or so.
Another post on another thread suggested the Sony Ericcson MW600 from MobileCityonline.com but I've not ever seen them or bought from this site. It's supposedly on Canal Street in NYC so I may check it out next time I'm in that area. Probably won't be until some time in August though.

Ordered the MW600 from mobilecity and got them last week. Absolutely thrilled with them. They work great as a headset at the gym, but where they really Excel is being able to plug any 3mm jack from either another set of earbuds, or stereo speakers. I can sit in one room and surf while playing music from my EVO on the stereo in another room. I'm really surprised how good the range is too - good 39-35'.

I've been using the BackBeat 903 for a about 3 months (it's a replacement for my Motorokr S9-HD) and it's been working great with my laptop PC, EVO, and iPhone 3Gs. The sound quality is pretty good and I like the "bass boost" setting. So far, I've had no issues using it while cycling (under my helmet), running, etc. and it stays in place. I also like the fact that ear piece is adjustable, since I wear prescription glasses which can be a problem for some "behind the ear" designs.
The Motorokr S9-HD which I bought before the BackBeat is definitely NOT a "one-size-fits-all" device! Although the sound quality is the best that I've heard so far in stereo bluetooth, it doesn't stay in place during any activities which require head movement. The only time that I use it now is when I'm working at my desktop PC.
so i tryed the backbeat 903 yesterday and silly me i bought a referb pair whos baterry died only 30 minutes into my workut.... then today they didn't work anymore but they felt good and while they functioned i enjoyed that much... i may just have to buy brand new...

Try pressing the power button as you plug the charger in. It should get it working again.
Gave up on bluetooth buds. Got a couple sets of VModa Vibe Duos for $19.99 each. They sound decent, pause for calls, work well with other media (GPS, voice control, etc.) and resume music play when call ends. The mic on it is clearer than my Jawbone Icon that I only use for driving, but it does pick up wind and other sounds that noise-assassin would block.
Ironically, my wife saw how well they worked and asked me to get her a set. At $19.99, no problem.
If there's ever a set with better sound that specifically controls Android music player, then I may invest in something that costs more and sounds better. Until now, it's these cheap, wired VVDs over BT sets.
just got my hbh is800. my wife washed my backbeat 903's so i took the opportunity to get some thing new. So far very happy with them. Good news the volume control for media volume does control the headset volume. (this is different from what i have read for the iphone or ipod touch which can control the is800's volume that would suck)
great piece of technology, amazingly small, i have not tried the phone yet. found them for $75 at amazon

For anyone that wants Bluetooth earphones with excellent sound and customer service, and can afford them, try the sleek audio earphones. I bought these while in Iraq and will never buy another earphone. The company is coming out with a new set, and I will be buying them. I love the customer service too, I had a mishap while deployed, and the earphone stopped working. Well believe it or not the company replaced them without question. Okay well enough of that. I will tell you that these are not cheap, but the freedom of movement, and the sound quality matches the shure earphones I purchased before the sleek set.

I have the SA-6 model, and love them, however, they have the SA-7 coming out. So you might want to look into when those come out. I don't know the difference, but hear that the quality is even better. Don't know how because the SA-6 is unmatched by any other company I have used
