Default Cheap alternative dock?
Someone posted a jury-rigged charging dock they made from a car cupholder insert, so I went on a search and found this:

Amazon.com: Heininger 1040 CommuteMate Black NavCup: Automotive

This plus a wall charger = cheap dock.

I ordered it and I'll post pics (if anyone wants) when it comes in.

Why not buy a doc on Ebay?

Well, because: 1) I don't want to order something from Hong Kong, 2) this is cheaper, 3) The Hong Kong Ebay dock may very well not accommodate my Body Glove case, and I am NOT going to pry that thing off if I don't have to.

Plus, I just read that the HK Ebay dock doesn't charge the phone from a/c, only by USB. Which makes it worthless to me.

I agree....do not purchase anything from Hong Kong on Ebay!!

You can plug the USB cable into your wall adaptor that came with the EVO and now it's an A/C charger, but it's still a dock from HK.

I'm happy with it.
