Default Innocase™ Extended Rugged Holster Combo for use with Innocell 3500mAh Extended Life Battery

You do lose the kickstand, but for those that have the Seido extended battery, you have a rugged case now.

So if I have a Chinese battery with the contoured back cover, think I could just get a seidio extended cover, that way I could buy this case....?

I have a innocase and holster already just sucks I cant use it with the extended battery, this would be perfect.

Edit: Does this case need the back cover? Almost looks like its a back cover and case...

I spoke with the Seidio rep on here last week about it. It will be released THIS YEAR, and we'll get a thread about it once it's available.

So mine got delivered today at 230 and I had left for work at 2. Lame! I was hoping to bring it to work and play with it. I'll be sure to hook it up tonight and post some early thoughts for you guys, as I'll be up late waiting to order my Archos 70 anyways.

Ok so I just opened it up and put the rubbery case part on my Evo, and this thing is waaay too big. I feel like my phone is gonna fall out of the thing. I put the skeleton part on and it's really not much better.

Also I didn't realize that the clip part is designed for face in only. It won't work face out, allowing me to see my screen while it's clipped to something, such as my visor in my car.

I'm gonna keep fiddling with it but I'm very disappointed. This product is supposed to fit, as it's made by the same people who made the extended back cover and the battery. C'mon people.

Edit: Ok so apparently what I got was supposed to go overtop of the "Innocase Extended" which is a case that goes on top of the backing that goes overtop of the bigger battery. So they wanted me to get a thin plastic case, then this skin case, and then the skeleton case for it to fit correctly. That's just a bit much. I can tell even if I do all of that that it's just gonna be too big. I'll probably be returning it, or exchanging it depending on if they have a skin that goes right overtop of the battery cover that they provided with the battery. Going to research more now!

Edit 2: Ok so what I was supposed to order was the Innocase™ Extended Rugged Holster Combo, which goes right over the backing for the battery... I think. It's pretty crazy that they have this many options, though I shouldn't complain, I guess I clicked the wrong product when I was ordering.

Well I just mine today and am very pleased. Form, fit and finish are excellent.

The only thing I wish I had not bought was the smaller holster. I see no need for it in my application as I will keep the rugged cover on all the time.

Any questions ask away.

Mine came today too.

It's on and it looks great. The skin fits tightly, has a nice soft texture and looks like it provides more than enough protection by itself. I have the skeleton on also which fits so well that they look like they're one piece.

The buttons on the skin are barely visible but still responsive and require very little pressure. The ports have thick cutouts over them and have two small holes where the "hinge" bends. I don't know about these, they look like they're going to tear but only time will tell.

The phone in it's case is very comfortable in my hand not only because of it's size and texture but because of the bulge in the back. It rounds out the phone and conforms better to my hand which I didn't expect at all. It's much more comfortable than when it was in the Otterbox Commuter case that I gave up to go the extended battery route. I also don't feel like it's about to fly out of my hand like it did with the Otterbox. I haven't tried the holster yet and probably never will.

Between the case and the extended battery this thing is huge though, just huge. I mean holy crap it makes my old Treo look small and my Curve seem like a kids toy. It has practically doubled the size of my EVO.

Overall, I'm lovin' the thing.

Yes it does add a lot of size but the good thing is I talk on this phone a lot and the girth has made it a whole lot more comfortable to do so. The case and battery also adds a lot of weight. Mine weighs without the carrier 9.5 oz. Yikes...

So I'll probably order the Innocase Extended soon so I can see if I like how it fits and decide whether I'm going to keep the skin, skeleton and clip for it.

Can someone post some pics please! Also the clip that comes with the combo how does it fit on a dress belt? It says it fits up to a 2" duty belt but I want to make sure it will work ok with my work/dress belt

Ok I'm not going to order the Innocase Extended because it doesn't protect the top and bottom of the phone. I'm just going to return the whole deal.

Some pics would be awesome if someone has the time, or better yet, a video! I really want to see a size comparison or someone holding this monster in their hands, I just feel like it might be a little too bulky..... the battery adds enough.

I'm supposedly getting the Innocase Extended for Christmas (or my birthday Jan 2nd) and I already have the Rugged Holster Combo (which doesn't fit until I get the Innocase Extended) so as soon as that comes I'll post pics of all the ins and outs for ya.

Default beyond rugged

This case is made of such a higher grade that the regular seidio rugged for the Evo,,,the silicone is extremely snug..and the lips of the silicone corners don't easily move as with the regular rugged case,,,the skeleton is also made much thicker and once on almost impossible to take off unlike the reg rugged skeleton which would sometimes disengage from the case when holstering,,,,I own the defender along with the ballistic,,, and this case is beyond the defenders level,,,and seems to be on the same level as the ballistic as far as overall ruggedness,,,

I have my whole rugged combo on the Evo now and Good Lord. This thing is a tank! I just showed a friend and he said you could probably run it over and it'd survive, and he may be right. If you don't mind your phone being big, which I don't considering I'm a big dude, I definitely recommend this.

Does anyone know if this case works with the Chinese 3500 battery and cover? I just ordered one, but may need to order the Sedio 3500 battery as well. Thanks.

The Chinese battery cover is shaped differently, so I don't think it'll work.

I have the chinese battery and the sprint battery cover. I got the battery cover from ebay for $10. It fits in the sedio rugged extended case perfectly with no mods.
