It could be but I buy from Buy.com a lot so I'm pretty confident. It already shipped so I'll post results next week. I have like 500mb left on my 16gb card so transferring all that data to the new card would show if it's a good card or not.
If you're more comfy with Amazon you can buy this one which is also made by Dane Electric but rebranded under duracell for $66.65
Hmmm.. was looking at spending $25 on a 16gb card, but if I can get a 32 class 4 for 60 and change it might just be the better deal. Decisions decisions!

So I got my card today and I find something strange about it... it has class 4 stamped right on it. Does anyone know what I can use to test the transfer speed of this thing?

Reason: image was too large so I posted a link instead
I bought the retail packaged Sandisk 32gb for under $80 shipped from Amazon. At $60, this card would be a lot more attractive, but I'm willing to pay a $20 premium to adopt a 32gb card early, and not have any concerns about its authenticity.
16gb is definitely where the deals are, especially if you want a faster class, but the 32gb Sandisk is performing above the standards for class 2 in my tests.
Be careful ordering the Dane 32GB Class 4. Received my order today and the package defines it as a class 2. I have to wait 1 day for an answer from buy.com as why i was sent a class 2. Paperwork even states class 4 so we'll see what happens.
Anyone else order the Dane 32GB card??

Got mine today, too and it is a Sandisk, 32gb, CLASS 4 Says so right on the tiny card.
I would also like to know if/how we test it. My friend bought a different brand 32gb class4 and he cant tell any difference at all. Not in phone use anyway. Maybe in transfer data, but I would expect that since there will be more data

What are you talking about authenticity? Did you see my first post? I purchased the card directly from Sandisk as part of their Thanksgiving promotion.

So far so good. I haven't had any read or write issues so it's fine. I can't seem to find any information online about it though, so I'm thinking these went on sale because they were mislabeled lol?

Where'd that come from, ebay perchance?
Have you tested the speed? I don't think sandisk has a class 4... at least they don't
on their web site.
Try using sd card speed tester and report back...
I, too, purch'd the sandisk 32 direct from sandisk. waiting on the shipment. Sure would be a nice surprise to see a sandisk class 4 show up!

Wow really? I'm getting mine this week and I'm probably going to get the same one. Any word from buy.com yet?
Edit2: Just got my Dane Electronic today. It does say HC-2 on the back of the package but here is my test result. I'm not gonna complain. Check out the read speed...hehe.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
We have confirmed that you received a wrong item. Item # 218651205 is in
stock and we will gladly issue you a replacement order if you want.
Basically they shipped out a replacement already, great customer service!!
dont worry about the class of the card. if you were using a HDSLR camera and needed fast buffer writes to card THEN the class would matter, but for handsets, the class is not important. stay with Sandisk and you will be golden.

Always wondered what the fuss was over classes, but since its just a phone card it doesn't matter. I have 16GB class 2 and I am satisfied, but now 32 is out I will pick one up here soon
