Default Connect Evo To TV watch movies?
Ok i was thinking watching movies and vids from my phone to the tv but i need a cord. The cord i seen in stores and on the net has no audio so i have to hear the movie from a cell phone ? I want to hear from the tv is there a way?

the mini hdmi out should provide the sound along with video like a normal hdmi cable. unless im mistaken.

no, you're correct. HDMI carries both video and audio. I've tested it, it works with the EVO.

FYI, its Micro HDMI, not mini. Heres a link on monoprice, I would highly recommend buying from them instead of somewhere else, their cable's are very good quality

For only $4.19 each when QTY 50+ purchased - 6ft 34AWG Standard Speed w/ Ethernet Micro-HDMI (Type D) to HDMI (Type A) Adapter Cable - Black | Micro-HDMI to HDMI Cables

and yes, hdmi carries audio as well as video.

They are pretty cheap i never order from them are you sure they are worth it?

I just bought this on Amazon... "PTC 6ft Premium Gold Series Micro HDMI to HDMI Cable for HTC EVO 4G for $2.26 (plus S&H)... works like a charm. Plug and play, picture and sound.
