Found a font that has Emoji enabled and would like to try and install it.
Or has anyone found a way to get emoji to work with rooted phones ?

Haven't tried... but if you're rooted, you can get to the fonts. They are stored in /system/fonts

You can put the font there, and hope it appears in standard font selection menus. Or, worst case, you can replace an existing droid font (back it up first before you replace).

you'll need to use adb or the Root Explorer app to do this.
