Its sounds like flashing the radio somehow bricked your phone. If it wont power up at all then I'm not sure how you could even alleviate the problem...

well it is rooted and i am returning to sprint.. but i have insurance and this is y 2nd phone and there sending me another one...if they give me issues im saying **** you take your goddamn evo back im gonna use my blackberry
I tried flashing a new radio and now it wont turn on or anything! not even fastboot when u hold power and vol down
I had this problem before. I took my device apart, put ti back together, and it start working again. I didn't have to disassembly the digitizer apart, so I wouldn't go that far. Also about Sprint, tell 'em you lost it. They will void your warranty when they find out your phone is rooted.
Probably a dumb question, but you've made sure the battery is charged, right? I have heard of instances when if the battery got below a certain charge percentage it would give them problems.

You'd get an attitude with them 'cause you took it upon yourself to void your warranty/insurance and brick your own phone? I don't believe anything you did was fault of Sprint or HTC...

exactly...and I don't have anything against you HxC...but sometimes the process of rooting and the person just don't get along...and I think this is one of those times....have you considered what I said before about finding someone to help you root should you choose that route again?

Hey,
I have looked around and maybe im just blind.... But I need some help please I have a Evo 4g and it is rooted and has the latest stable cyanogen rom installed, it has been this way for about 4 months now. I had my phone pluged in I went to unplug it to get in the car it flashed to full battery then died. Now when I plug in the phone the charge led dosnt come on and it wont power up...
Is it gonna get rejected when I take it in to sprint? What should I do...???

have you tried a different battery? or test that battery on another evo? i have heard that for some cm7 has caused bootloop issues, but not charging or powering on. if it is completely dead i would take it in and see what happens. they can't power it on to see if it was rooted. just do not tell them that it is rooted. i'm not saying to lie, just omit the fact that it is rooted.

Welcome to the forums, btw!
Can you get to recovery? If you can, try wiping cache and Dalvik cache and then rebooting the phone.
