I know it's not what you asked but have you tried google nav?

I used both for a while and ended up liking google nav best so I don't even bother with sprint nav anymore. The google apps just seem to be higher end from what I've seen.

Glad you got it working though.

Google nav is the best(other than the voice and pronunciation). If you really think about it....you have the power of google...an internet connection....locational services(GPS or not). I have used google in many situations where traffic was hairy and it made all adjustments based on traffic....something other apps/navigators claim to do but never really get it. We were 3 miles from destination in heavy traffic with an ETA of 12 minutes and the traffic layer was showing exactly what we were experiencing. Anyway, google nav rules in my book....not to mention a google search if you are navigating to some place the you really don't know where you are going....bam...it does a google search.....you select what you want....and...BAM...you are on your way. I mean you can simple say, "Navigate to Walmart"....nothing more.....and it will give you a list of Walmarts in your area with the closest at the top. Not a damn navigator out there that can do that.....not to mention all of the other things this damn phone can do....what an amazingly powerful device.

And don't forget, with voice search you can just say, "Navigate to.........."......and bam, navigation pops up with you not having to type a damn thing. It is awesome.

I agree with everything that has been said here. Also, if you lose your internet connection with Google navigator, it just keeps going since the whole trip is cached.
