well there two really good places for roms. i always check to the EVO 4G Android Development - xda-developers and see if any new roms are out. also you can use the ROMs and Kernels Download Page. we always try and keep the thread up to date.

i would suggest that you try out mikg 3.0. it is a stock sense rom but has sense 2.1 and sense 3.0 cooked in. plus it is optimized to be very fast and stable.

2.3.3 is gingerbread and as the title of this thread states, gingerbread can now be rooted. please follow the guide that xtreme has linked. mae sure that you read it thoroughly before rooting your phone. also please feel free to ask questions if you have them.

unfortunately the shift is not listed on the revolutionary website.

you can post your question on how to root in the EVO Shift - All Things Root - Android Forums and this is the evo section and i do not know to much on how oto root the shift.
